Seeing a lot of green today. Can’t help but feel it all means something #classof2013 #gratefulingreen
I met Tiger Woods, once. At the time, it was quite surreal, but upon later reflection, became more a story about me than him. He was never known as a particularly personable sportsman, and solemnly engaged with the crowd. I had to test for myself if this was true.
Tiger began to walk off of the 7th green, he was heading towards the 8th tee. His head was down. I ran ahead and put a quarter in the grassy walkway, directly in his line of vision. I waited. He spotted the glint of silver and picked it up. As he did so, I let out a quiet squeak, “Could I have my quarter back?” In a half smile, he flicked the quarter to me.
You have to make your own opportunities.
